After graduating from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, our founder, Jennifer Ringenberg, DVM, dove headfirst into the demanding world of emergency medicine. She loved the challenge, the adrenaline, and—most of all—the opportunity to help when pets and their families needed it most. But along the way, she also saw the toll unreliable relief services and corporate-driven priorities could take on the hospital teams tackling some of the most heart-wrenching cases while burning out on the grueling schedules. This toll had another unbearable cost:  beloved doctors and amazing technicians were losing a too-often silent and invisible internal battle against depression. Dr. Ringenberg knew there had to be a better way.

So Jen created The Roaming DVM - an agency committed to offering a better option for ER relief veterinarians traveling nationwide. She envisioned a relief agency built on trust, consistency, and compassion.
